Automatic Mains Failure(Amf)
When the mains electricity supply fails, auto mains failure panels, sometimes referred to as AMF panels, are used to switch over automatically from the mains energy supply to a standby generator or genset. When the building’s electrical load is automatically switched from the mains to the generator when the mains power fails. After an appropriate cooling run, the generator is shut off when the mains supply comes back on. This is controlled by the ATS panel.
